My husband said her voice was like “fingernails on a chalkboard,” & neither of us wanted to have this performance on until we were sure it was over, so I just clicked in and out during the day with the mute on, hoping for a break.

Barrett is about as bad as she possibly can be, then.

She follows in the footsteps of nominations/appointments to the SCOTUS by the GOP that are blisteringly insulting to the intelligence of any thinking American — like filling Thurgood Marshall’s vacancy with Clarence Thomas. Now they’re going to fill Ruth Bader Ginsberg’s vacancy with this appalling creature.

That’s a helluva legacy.
