What I'm railing against is people believing this is "in the bag, nothing to worry about, might as well cast a protest vote" or even "why stand in an 8 hour line, we have this".

THAT is what is far more likely. We have unbridled optimism. We don't have gloom and doom. We need optimism, but not complacency.

So while nobody believes we are losing, plenty of us realize we can lose.
