Earlier today brought this movie to mind. For those unfamiliar with it, about King George VI, who became (unwillingly) king after his nazi-sympathizing brother david abdicated. He had a serious stuttering problem. The movie focuses on his most unconventional speech therapy, and the friendship that grew between HRM and the therapist.
Utterly fascinating, and an object lesson for today.
