The only option is to get 4-5 Senate Rs to back the House version. You will never get enough Rs in the Senate to pass anything. The deal lies with the Ds. Pelosi knows this, ergo her insistence on not making a crappy piecemeal deal.
And, no: I would not rather get $400 a week instead of nothing right now, because to do so is to gut the D Heroes Act.
As far as enhanced benefits, here in CA we got 6 weeks worth of tRumps $300-a-week enhanced benefits. Neither Pelosi or Yertle had anything to do with that. If anything, tRumps action delayed getting a deal thru Congress. At the end of the day, the $300 did more harm than good.
