(24,906 posts)dating back to 1975. They are not in pristeen condition, but they are all 100% complete. No pages or photos missing. Never been folded or creased. I'm going to negotiate with a few antique shops in my town for a price. I know they are not real valuable, but I do have several milestone issues with important pictures and articles. Lots of Hunter S. Thompson.
The holy grail issue to me is the one with the famous photo of a naked John Lennon cuddling with a fully clothed Yoko on the cover. It was right after he died and to the best of my knowledge it's the only issue of Rolling Stone with simply their masthead and a full page photo with no other text on the cover. If I can't get some good bucks for that on, I will keep it and probably frame it.
