Got some bad news, yesterday. A good friend is hospitalized with Covid. It doesn't look hopeful. [View all]

We were long time co-workers. I've known her for probably 25 or more years. She's married to a physician (both are retired) and has been so careful, following the precautions because her husband's health isn't the best. He's also not feeling well, although he's convinced he doesn't have Covid. The update I got, just now, has me bracing myself for the next bit of news about either of them, or both.

It really just takes one slip-up - and it can be something so small you will never be able to recall what it was.
