I wouldn't say he's "healthy" but the bruises don't mean much. He probably took a bit of a spill and the meds he is likely on caused him to bruise up quite drastically. I see it all the time in elderly patients. Don't be surprised if he just heals up over the next two weeks and nothing ever comes of this. It probably looks like he is in much worse shape than he actually is
