Probably a "purity" thing.

Lots of Nazis felt that way after Russian troops took Berlin. And protested loudly. But the Russians didn't seem to mind, they just executed them. After a few hours of that, the brave Nazis just stood back as the Russians raped their way through the suburbs. Funny how total capitulation effects the attitude.
However, I draw comparison in only the narrowest sense here. I'm sure that if Trump prevails, American Nazis will be much more temperate and civilized. Sedate even, with every exhibition of sublimity and culture. Provided they aren't too aggravated by all the flying pigs.
