In reply to the discussion: Did anyone get trick or treaters last night? [View all]no matrix
(20 posts)37. We did here in Florida
They were just little ones early and no one after 8:30. Kids are going to school here.
I'd say we got 1/3 of the amount we usually have, 20 - 30 kids.
It's the 1st time we didn't give out chocolate.
We bought a big box of Mott's fruit flavored snacks. Little individual packages. Every kid said "I love these!".
Good for lunch boxes.
I felt bad for the parents, waiting at the street. I can't imagine raising kids today, and hopes for their future.
I didn't expect any kids, but, many had decorated their houses, as they usually do.
Oh, in case you were wondering about neighborhood (candidate) flag support, I'd say it was equal Biden vs Trump.
Most of the Biden flags in the past 2 weeks.

We had a bunch, more than usual. Lots of folks from other neighborhoods. We put candy outside.

None. I bought one bag and sent half to son in a bday package. Now I have half a bag in the cabinet.
