17. You don't have to vote Republican just because you are registered as a republican

In fact Republicans have been registering as Democrats for years so they can screw up Democratic primary races....Give the Republican headquarters a call and see what they say. But it seems to me your real issue is that you won't be anywhere near your mom's or your PO box on Nov. 6... if you are moving to Jacksonville....So the only way you could vote would be with an absentee ballot. Try that approach....You need an absentee ballot because you will be moving, but don't know your new address yet...have it sent to your mom's. Add your name to her mailbox... tell her to tell her postman that you will be getting your mail at her place for a few months....

In FL you must vote in the county and precinct in which you are registered....that's the reason you will need an absentee ballot if you will be in Jacksonville.
