55. The last time I renewed my Florida driver's license they refused my PO Box

Which I have been using for my DL for over thirty years. They told me they are now required to have a physical address on their records AND on the DL.

I asked them to continue to use the PO Box as a mailing address, but the most recent thing I got from them was sent to my street address. I hate using the street address for important mail - the box is not visible from anywhere on the farm, it constantly gets bashed so it is not weather tight and the carrier usually will not drive up the long driveway to deliver anything that may be damaged if it gets wet.

I've had packages left leaning up against the post the mailbox is on - on the rural road where anyone could stop and pick them up. THAT is why I pay for a PO Box - so my mail is secure and less open for theft.

But apparently PO Boxes are no longer acceptable to the Florida Division of Motor Vehicles!
