There was a famous song writer, Burt Bacharach (sp) who used to be on TV and would sing his songs while playing the piano. I was a child, and I used to think "that guy can't sing! What's he doing this for!" but people enjoyed him tremendously.

So, maybe your family has some additional hidden talents that you should try for? You never know! Instead of The Platt Family Singers you could be The Platt Family Song Writers!

Music is very, very important.
