4. my Kroger store has little donation boxes at each check stand for cash to the Food Bank.

...and I contribute food to the "little food library" at a house near a local small park. It's next to a little book library. Canned goods, shelf stable, etc.

And I am very mindful of people on the street who look like a $5 for a snack would mean a slightly less miserable day. I also carry trail bars for that purpose. Small gestures, but...
