(10,992 posts)Lots of unanswered questions. Would antibodies from actual Covid or from the vaccine last the same amt of time or would one last longer than the other? There are some articles suggesting that being out and about with a mask might expose you to some small amts of virus - not enough to make you very sick but to possibly produce antibodies. A friend who is 78 was mildly sick for one day months ago tested positive for antibodies. Mysterious illness.
There is an interesting article out (I forgot what news site) saying in India the virus is rampant in the middle and upper class neighborhoods but not in the slums where sanitation is really bad. The article suggested that slum dwellers were exposed to so many more pathogens they might have been exposed to a similar virus.
