(15,805 posts)30. It's easy to do yourself.
Just accustom your cat to getting his feet touched and his cute little toes gently squeezed to pop out his claws. Use a big toenail clipper and just snip off the sharp ends on the front claws. Takes a about 30 seconds and the cats get cuddled and fed lots of treats so they are happy to get their claws clipped.
It's also a lot cheaper and less stressful than a trip to the vet or a groomer.

Yay...but it will scratch furniture and that might not be good! Some of that furniture just might

A lot of cat posts, cardboard scratches, carpet covered scratches, and of course a big cat tree.

I've had 4 cats and none of them scratched the furniture. One was declawed but the others not.
