The OP got the facts wrong. Period.

If you want to talk about whether she should have given her space to her right wing brother - start a thread! Or invite discussion here. But make it an invitation, not a condemnation of the motives of those who entered the discussion solely to correct the factual representation in the OP.

Doing so diminishes the importance some of us attach to halting the spread of fake news by insisting that anyone who corrects facts is we ALSO obligated have to engage in a discussion that might have taken place had the OP not gotten their facts wrong.
