You might be see something advertised there. In my town, our local Presbyterian church has a Secret Santa program. There's also Toys for Tots, and animal shelters, and women's and children's shelters often have "wish" lists. If they have a web page, you can find the wish list there. Some of them, like my local ASPCA even have an Amazon page, where you can buy supplies and have them shipped directly to the shelter.
