I'm sure it takes quite a bit of tooling to get set up to produce the vaccine for one thing. But the more important thing I've heard is that there are shortages showing up in just getting the supply of materials to produce the vaccine itself. So increasing capacity won't help much if there are not enough materials to produce it.

I'm also sure that trump doesn't give a squat about improving the supply chain. He probably never even had a plan in the first place.
We can take comfort knowing that the Biden team will be on the job in a month and we'll have real experts working to get the whole thing moving full steam ahead.
