General Discussion
In reply to the discussion: Post removed [View all] I love watching woman who persist and won't be silenced.
Then you must love all the women that came before her. Their courage and determination to make this country a better place.
Elizabeth Warren: gave us the CPA. The GOP tried to knock her down for this and she whipped their ass. She spoke in Congress and persisted when they told her to sit down and shut up.
Maxine Waters: Reclaimed her time.Persisted.
Kamala Harris: VP elect. Firebrand. Persisted.
Nancy Pelosi: Persisted for decades.
Hillary: She was pushing single payer when AOC was a baby. She was the First lady at that time and was not able to vote for it. Persisted.
Their are more. These are progressive woman that have fought for us all our lives. They have huge accomplishments under their belts. As for Stacey Abrams? She handed us Georgia, the state and perhaps on 01/05/2021 she may well hand us the Senate.
When you prop up one woman by demeaning all that came before her is an insult to all woman. Frankly I don't believe AOC would approve that. She has potential and can learn much from her peers.

Successfully running the DNC requires more than glibness, bluntness and lots of Twitter followers
