backing out to escape facing his defeaters?
He did go through the rants and insane orders to keep fighting. He never acknowledged his own failures. He blamed everyone around him right to the end. And then played the role of martyr.
Trump is not likely to take that route. He will continue to spin himself as the perpetual victim of fraud.
