But I am thankful a lot of people who really need it will get something. For some, this may keep the wolves away for another month. They are still being held hostage by the villains in the Republican Party.

The local weekly is run by a wealthy Republican. It's free though he once tried charging for copies and nearly went under. His son, a well-educated idiot, used to do the movie reviews when he was ten and thinks everything he writes is gold. He's even started his own "non-biased" online news outlet heavily promoted in dad's weekly. He wrote an opinion piece about the stimulus earlier this year saying that they should have sent the checks after New York's lockdown when people could use the money in restaurants and stores instead of languishing in their bank accounts. This is the mindset of these people. And they don't have any idea what they are missing by not having compassion, like they never really grokked A Christmas Carol.
