(2,699 posts)There was certainly nothing heroic about it, or about anything he did in his life. Still, it takes some courage to put a bullet in your head and face the dread of something after Death that Hamlet whines about. Of course in Hitler's case, suicide seemed preferable to the kind of horrible tortures to which he assumed the allies would subject him -- because, of course, he assumed the allies would treat him as he would have treated them had the shoe been on the other foot.
Trump on the other hand has no such resolve. He will die, however, when brought to trial after his de-throning. His health will waste away and by the time verdicts are delivered for his massive crimes against America and the American people, he'll look more a shriveled mummy than the bloated, incontinent Chosen One of God his people drool over and worship. The result will possiblyl die before being sentencing or, living, his health will be so poor that he will be confined to a nursing home, under guard and with his freedom of movement restricted by an ankle bracelet. (I'd take it further and deprive him of the internet and TV, but permit him to take a book or magazine out of the Home's library. He'll not be interested, of course, but it would be a nice touch to leave as his only source of entertainment the riches of a culture he can never appreciate, and books and magazines he will never have interest in reading. Of course, it would be a sure sign that there is a God, after all, if he were allowed an occasional Zoom conference with his sons and son-in-law, and his number 1 daughter who would be speaking with him from their individual prison cells.)
