52. Hitler made a solemn ceremony

of his suicide. First, he married Eva Braun. Then he ranted instructions about Germany to those of his inner circle who remained. He gave precise directions on how to dispose of his and Eva's remains. Then they took poison.

I don't see an ounce of courage in his suicide. I see a man so afraid of admitting defeat that death was preferrable. Fear and arrogance motivated him. "You can't defeat me because I die as a winner, without ever surrendering to you."
