2. I lived in San Clemente when Nixon was in office

That's where Nixon's west coast home existed. My in-laws had a ranch style home in the hills overlooking town and ocean, they loved Nixon and thought all of these things. That it was witch hunt, and they considered John Dean a double crossing snitch. I was pleased as punch that his was being impeached, however I didn't engage with them over the affair. It was the prevailing sentiment with the locals.
