52. the notes at the end were DIFFERENT than the square at the beginning. You're all getting confused.

At the end, he had his son retrieve the things he wrote on the 8 x11 paper they gave him. Standard stuff. If it had been the same thing as in the beginning, he would have folded it down to the same size to fit in his pocket. No one is going to leave the debate notes on the podium when they're done.. that would be foolish.

Now the thing he takes OUT of his pocket is certainly hankie sized, and could have very well had other things inside of it. But we gotta stop confusing the two. 1) small square object if front pocket. 2) 8 x 11 stiff papers that were only folded LENGTHWISE so that they didn't fit in his jacket.

Really. .this is NOT something we should be focusing on. It's not a big deal because it makes us look stupid. It looked like a hankie, but I also think that it could have contained index cards as well. BUt.. again. It's not that big of a deal, his crackhead performance and lies were.
