Editing to link to Cruz's statement referring to what he says is an 1877 precedent to follow.

Note that after this so-called audit is done, he wants the GOP-controlled state legislatures to convene special sessions to vote on changing their EC results "if needed."

So this is just a roundabout way to let those state legislatures overturn the will of the people.
