19. Everyone in WV used to run as a Dem.

Going back to the New Deal. WV (Sen. Byrd) is a public funding hole.

It’s fairly recent - really this century - for anyone to run as a Republican and have any chance of winning. Gov. Justice was even elected as a Dem and recently switched.
