78. These officials can claim they didn't know how far the 1/6/21 attempted coup would go,

pretending it was only intended as a peaceful protest that unfortunately got out of hand. The second time around will be another matter entirely. In light of all the warnings, if these government officials don't respond appropriately to future threats of a violent overthrow of our democracy, they will be as guilty of treason as the actual seditionists.
