(7,604 posts)53. Being stripped of his pension and his Hon Disc isn't enough, IMO.
HE PARTICIPATED IN AN INSURRECTION AGAINST HIS OWN GOVERNMENT. He furthered a coup. He was carrying devices meant for mass arrests without authorization. His actions were consistent with some in the organized insurrection who stated their intention to assassinate members of Congress and the VP. So, no, losing his pension and his honorable discharge is a slap on the wrist, relatively speaking.
