Remember kent state. That is the reason nat guard units aren't given bullets when facing rioters or protestors.

That is of course different from armed paramilitary confrontation, but the lessons are the same.

A green guard unit is prone to panic, and will fire before even police would. Of course, a lot of guard units have been deployed overseas since the gop wars began, so they may not be green.

But there is still a huge risk here. Civilians will get caught in crossfire or misfires. bullets will fly through windows and doors. Arson will be a tactic and fire fighters may not respond to certain areas. In fact, one of their primary tactics may be just to burn everything they can find. Start so many fires and shoot at so many firefighters that the city burns. It isn't their city. they hate the people who live there. They are discussing it as a reparation for the burning of atlanta.

Urban warfare is never clean. It isn't balanced. And bullets are not going to be enough.

The right thing to do is vacuum these asshats up before they are on-site. Stop them before they organize.
