This is the only reason he is stronger.
Not from his debate performance, but because he adopted a more moderate position.
Many folks here just don't seem to get that. Romney didn't put up a great debate performance. He alleviated many fears of moderate Republicans and right leaning independents.
The biggest political mistake Romney made was choosing an extremist like Ryan for his running mate.
The best possible campaign strategy for President Obama:
Ryan is one heart beat away from the Presidency.
