Fwiw, I never thought he was doing anything but what he should in the face of overwhelming force. He was obviously thinking and choosing his move at each stage, and he was armed but never used his gun, which could have touched off mob violence. That was a little clue from the beginning, but of course we had no idea then just how well he was thinking. Guessing these videos will be used to train and inspire officers, and I'm glad we have them now to be glad of also.
