Al Gore. Respect. [View all]

I was watching Al on Anderson Cooper. Al has always had my respect and admiration for putting country over self. It has always broken my heart that he was not President. He has honor.

Same with Hillary. It broke my heart that America was denied her leadership and we were forced to endure the atrocity of the last four years.

So, twice in my lifetime, the better candidates have been denied. That makes it all the more meaningful to me that Joe and Kamala will now lead. Restore dignity, grace, logic and compassion to a country that hungers for those qualities.

I’m very proud to be a Democrat. We must never allow another time when the best candidate is denied. We do this by continuing to show up in numbers too big to ignore. When the time comes, I’ll be there. I’ll show up. Every time.
