68. No need for apologies

The important thing is that we all support President Biden in the now because the challenges he and his staff will face are incredibly difficult, made all the more complicated by Trump's screwups, vindictiveness and incompetence. I'm very encouraged by the people Biden's brought on board, those with top-tier experience, professionalism and expertise. I want to return to the days where the word 'expert' and 'science' are not considered expletives.

As for the primary? We had a great selection of people. For me, Joe Biden was made for this particular moment in history. And he's already proving that with his commitments, words and actual work right out of the box.

It's going to be an arduous haul ahead but everything's leaning in the right direction.

I'm more optimistic today than I've been for a long time.
