26. Yes. Good observation. I'm mindful of what AOC said after the election.

She said we need to do some 'deep canvassing' around our platform issues.

I totally agree with that, because until we have a new Fairness Doctrine, if ever, the only way to break into that low-information bubble is to educate people. That takes all of us.

Personally, I comment heavily on articles in my local newspaper, and there is a new app called NextDoor, and it has a political group. I comment in there as well. In the context of my employment, I also release reports that, at least sometimes, inform discussion at the local level. I also routinely communicate with my members of Congress. I'm working on doing that more at the local level.

I am sure many, many others on this site do the same, and certainly a lot of people saw the herculean efforts of Stacey Abrams and her colleagues in GA, and are going to work in their own states to emulate that.

You know, I've been watching MSNBC - just because it is so comfortable for me - doesn't grate on my confirmation bias - and they are covering the federal government heavily, almost blow by blow. Wish Fox would do that. If these 'news' outlets were required to present news factually, and to present all sides of issues when engaged in in-depth reporting, it would be a happy thing.

Really beefing up civics, rhetoric, and American history classes in K-12 would help, too.
