(49,445 posts)11. I was wearing a respirator with P100 filters for quite a while.
P100 or N100 means they block 99.97% of airborne particles. The "P" means oil-resistant, I guess in case I strike oil or something.

One suggestion is to put some paper tape across the top of the mask at the bridge of your nose

My N95s (and most of them) have straps that go to the back your neck and heaad.
