On Sunday morning a woman was in a church here in Jamaica (peaceful Trelawny) and a gunman was sitting behind her. We're talking 10.30am. He opened fire hitting her with several shots and then escaped.
Looks like her stepson was upset at being left out of the property inheritance when his father/the deceased woman's husband died last year. Apparently she had to have security guards at her husband's funeral last year.

Yes. He would have had, relatively speaking, a much shorter sentence without killing anyone.
