(31,362 posts)I like the approach where someone speaks directly to others to work on political solutions, at least as a first step, not straight to the press to garnish the headlines and exert pressure to gain an advantage. I get annoyed when she does that.
On the other hand, she has a ton of great qualities and I love it when she goes after opponents. I agree with most of her stances and I'd love to see them come to fruition.
I think she will be Great, with a capital G. But I am very leery of all the adoration. When I see that, I look for the flaws to maintain a balanced perspective. And because everybody LOVES her so much, when I make note of flaws, people go crazy. Cultism is not healthy.
Oh, and for the record, I thought of her often during the attack in DC. Mostly I worried about Nancy (who I love, and she is so frail) and AOC (because I feel I know her a little) and Pence (he was pitiful and likely never saw it coming) and the poor cop that was being chased.
