24. I don't see these people ever getting off the crazy train.

They’re too radicalized and there’s no way for them to come back to reality. As long as the well funded propaganda machines exist, there’s no way out of the reality that has been molded for them. And every day more and more people come on board. I think it’s far more likely that they become the norm rather than the rejected. Look at what they’re doing to any reasonable Republican. Liz Cheney, of all people, is now a RINO. They wanted to hang Mike Pence at the insurrection. You don’t get anymore reliably right wing than those two but they are on the outs. It’s only going to get worse.

What do we do to get out of it? Actually come through this time. Get that money in the people’s hands. Do the infrastructure. Create the jobs. Make people want to keep voting our way. I just don’t know if it’s possible. There’s always a Lieberman or a Nelson or a Manchin in the way of doing the right thing. We don’t get the benefit of the doubt. We get two years to fix problems that need ten. If we don’t do it, it’s 2010 all over again with a truly fascist opposition in control.
