14. I guess your mileage may vary, so to speak

I got a Moderna squirt on Wednesday, my appt. was between 10 and noon, I arrived about 15-20 mins before. If you have access to any consent/registration forms, fill and sign them before you leave the house.

Another thing is, if your confirmation has phone contact info, I'd give them a call and ask some general questions (how long should I plan on being there, is there parking nearby, etc.) When your confirmation says "plan 90 mins." does that mean "get here 90s mins before" or "plan on being here that lnog"? That's also one of the things you can clear up with the phone call. Either way, you should definitely make sure your smartphone is charged or bring a book, you may luck out ang get called with the first group but it's always better to err on the side of caution.

They warn you that shot number 2 (for Moderna) is the tricky one--you might get a fever or other symptoms, perhaps more soreness. I got some soreness on shot 1 later that night but I just took a painkiller.

Again, your mileage may vary, but congrats on getting the appt. Hope it goes well!

OH, almost forgot, they make you hang out for about 15 minutes after you receive the shot, I guess to make sure you don't have any bad reaction to it.
