I wish I'd read at least one of these books when I lived down there. I heard about them, but reading one would have opened my eyes to Southerners' cultural mindset around me. What language and behavior I'd seen in my 24 years there was ugly enough, but that they'd 'culturize' their twisted beliefs ... ugh.

Your account is fascinating. One that all Whites should know about.
Would you mind if I shared and attributed it to you on FB? It's just so good it deserves some wider attention. Whatever you think, I'm glad I read it.
