and never did if Chomsky's "Manufacturing Consent" is to be believed.

I don't watch a lot of M$M. Just the local news, which is mostly car crashes and shootings, unless there's a big fire, and sports, of course. Gotta have the sports.

I suppose if I had cable I would watch Maddow-Stewart and Colbert. Maybe even LarryO. But sorta more entertainment than truth.

Truthfully though, I do not find that much sanity and hope at DU. Too often, it seems the only value we share is a commitment to "hatred of people who disagree with us".
