5. It was a curious campaign, skewed by COVID

The two camps didn't actually engage that much. Biden had the luxury of an intense understanding of the opposition which was destroying itself. Biden could almost be said to have played a rope-a-dope strategy, so when he needed to engage, the debates, he hit hard. Trump defined himself, and then Biden confirmed it. Trump's attempts to define Biden were ridiculous. Antifa was a disconnect, "Sleepy Joe" was a fail, Ukraine Fake Dirt was well known by the summer. The first Democratic debate, where Trump camp dreamed up "Sleepy Joe" was a sleeper strategy, I still think Biden underplayed his hand to seek better opportunity going forward.
