I want him to be hanged Albert Pierrepoint-style. Pierrepoint was Britain's most famous hangman, and no one knows exactly how many people he hanged - somewhere between 400 and 600 is the estimate. The British gave a condemned prisoner (I am using "him" because most of Pierrepoint's "clients" were men, but he had executed some women) exactly three Sundays to get his affairs in order and mentally prepare himself to die. Pierrepoint arrived at the prison the day before the execution and looked at the prisoner (who had already been weighed) to examine his build and judge the strength of his neck. On the day of execution, Pierrepoint and his assistant would walk into the cell, strap his wrists together behind his back, walk him into the hanging chamber, put a white hood over his head, put the rope around his neck and pull the lever. It took less than a minute, but one guy was hanged in less than eight seconds...that one wanted to get this shit over with, so he broke loose from Pierrepoint's grasp, ran into the chamber and stood on the platform. Pierrepoint took after him, masked him, roped his neck and pulled the lever.
There's a good movie about Pierrepoint called "The Last Hangman" that has excerpts on YouTube. When he went to Germany to hang Nazi war criminals, he would hang two men at the same time and hanged over a dozen people per day.
