(912 posts)He wants others to fight his fights for him. Was there ever a documented case during his admin that he fired someone to their face? Or was it all by underlings or via tweet?
He has no appetite to face his accusers or opponents face to face in front of a camera. And never will. He'll scream, holler & bluster from afar - but like most bullies, in the end is a total coward!! As the titular head of the pubbie party he could do just that to the lower beings of the party, and get away with the bully boy BS. (Only a very few "profiles in courage" in that crowd. Most are still cowering in fear of him.)
The one time I remember of him going face to face with Pelosi (the one filmed for national news consumption). I think he thought he was going to put the woman in her place, but she would have none of it and made him look like the fool he is. Then he believed his own BS and thought he could easily browbeat and trash "sleepy Joe" in the debates. Again he came out looking like a fool. He knows that unless he's in a position of total advantage or control it's not going to end well for him, and will not willingly put himself in a position to be publicly confronted and questioned by a knowledgeable/determined opposition. He knows full well that, in the end, he hasn't any kind of valid defense for his actions. As is so typical of a bully.
