8. My question

Now in hindsight we see that the evangelicals do not truly care for Pence. They sold him out for Trump. I'm wondering if Trump regrets not having a different running mate for the election?

What I have learned about the born agains (from my ex wife and her cult) is that they love to slam and smear other churches, not just other religions. So it is not surprising to me that they did not rally around Pence. If Trump thought he'd lose support by dumping him, I believe it was a miscalculation.
