I'm not going to delete my Navy Seals post, as if I hadn't written it... but after thinking about it for a bit, I wish I hadn't posted it. Tiger Woods will have the best care money can buy, and even that may not be enough to save him from allowing him to walk normally again. It's very early obviously, but what if he is even unable to do that? Doctors describe his leg injuries as "catastrophic". Both legs. He may never play professional golf again which would be sad for him but not a tragedy in normal human terms.
Tiger's well known indiscretions aside and alleged condescending attitude towards certain of us who don't breathe the rarified air of wealth and/or privilege, he is human and he is now facing a very scary and uncertain future as far as his physical health and abilities are concerned. His mental health has been the subject of past scrutiny, and will be going forward no doubt. However he'll have the best of post-operative care and rehabilitation, he's Tiger Fucking Woods, but perhaps now is not the time to rub sand in his face. The man is after all laid up in hospital with badly broken legs, having just likely escaped death by a whisker.
