(8,042 posts)What bothers me about your post is that you made a lot of accusations against him that haven't been substantiated regarding the wreck.
Also, you're saying you know all these people who've been treated so horribly by him and I can't personally dispute your claims because I don't know one way or another. I don't know anything about you and have no idea if you heard some things from someone who knew someone who knew someone who knew someone and then it's like that old game about the telephone. After the story is repeated so many times there's no truth in it at all. (just sayin' - )
I definitely agree with you that too much time was spent on the news yesterday regarding this story. Having said that, you kind of put your credibility into question with how you ended your post: "My sister was permanently disabled by a reckless drunk driver -- not sure if he was drunk, on pain meds, or just plain reckless -- I am just grateful that no other family has to deal with the aftermath of Tiger's wreck." You said she was disabled by a reckless drunk drive but then you say you're not sure if he was drunk, on pain meds, etc.
One of my best childhood friends was killed when she was 40 (23 years ago) by a head-on collision with a drunk driver. He wasn't killed and they were obviously able to determine what his blood alcohol level was.
