A big problem beyond minimum wage - too many low wage jobs just above it that need pushed up [View all]

It doesn't look like the wage increase will happen with the current bill - fine, whatever, as long as Democrats do push for a wage increase ideally with built in future increases. Enough of this one and done shit.

I think it's even smart and possible to turn this lack of inclusion into a long term win.

If they don't want $15 now, well ok, build up to it, BUT also have in the bill a timeframe for $17, $20 and beyond... something.

Additionally, there are WAAAYYY too many jobs that are sitting at $10... or even the low teens that should be already be higher.

Part of this is the extremely low minimum wage. EVERYTHING needs pushed up.
