(26,326 posts)48. I was in a Home Depot last year in the height of this.
I was all the way to the back of the store before I realized I had no mask.
I was really embarrassed. Lol. I felt the same way. I was afraid I looked like a Republican maskhole.
No one said anything to me. I self checked out and got out of there.
This Monday I had to ask my dentist office for a mask as my lovely boyfriend decided all my truck masks needed to be washed and forgot to tell me. The dentist charges 10 or 20 bucks for PPE so I didnt feel bad asking.

It happens. I've had to walk back to my car a couple of times upon getting to the door...

me, too. What I also do is keep a mask in my handbag, since I never leave it in the car while

Can you put one in a pocket (of a jacket, coat)? That way, you are wearing it around to put on

I usually have 3 pretty ones in my purse - and some disposable ones in my glove compartment
